Designed by Tom Gerhardt and Dan Provost of Studio Neat in NYC, the Glif is a wicked smart iPhone 4/4S accessory that serves double duty as a camera tripod mount and a kickstand to prop your iPhone at an angle. Use the Glif with your caseless iPhone to mount it to a Gorilla tripod, for example, and take perfectly framed handsfree photos or video. Slide your phone into the notch of the 'f' and it acts as a simple stand for watching video or using FaceTime and Skype.

The Glif isn't just an incredibly elegant and useful product, it also comes with a fantastic story. Gerhardt and Provost launched the product through Kickstarter back in November of 2010. At the time, it was the most successful Kickstarter project of its time, surpassing ten times the number of pledges needed to fund production, with over 5,000 backers. Not only were the partners able to turn their vision into a reality, they went from concept to finished product in about thirty days.
